Product Stock Settings

Manage the product inventory under the "Stock Settings" section in product edit. Stock can be adjusted at the main product level or for each variant, allowing you to set inventory for each product variant separately. Complete the changes by clicking the "Save" button.

Each product includes the following features:

Keep Track of Stock Levels

Keep track of stock levels by manually adjusting quantities as you receive or sell items. Automatic updates with each purchase ensure real-time accuracy and prevent overselling.

Low Stock Notifications

Set notifications to alert you when stock levels drop below a specified threshold. Customize the alert level to ensure timely replenishment.

Allow Purchases When Out of Stock

Enable customers to place orders even when an item is out of stock. Useful for backorders or gauging demand before restocking.

Track Variant Items

Monitor stock levels for each variant, such as different sizes or colors, ensuring accurate inventory management and preventing stockouts. Note that this feature allows selling only one item per variant and cannot be changed once saved.

How to Set Up Product Variant Inventory

To set up product variant inventory, go to the product edit page, find the variants list, and click the "Edit" button for the desired variant. This will bring up the same features available in the general product edit section.
